Welcome to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation's (MPF)
web page.
The MPF is dedicated to people living with
Parkinson's. We are a non-profit 501 c(3) charitable
corporation. Guided by a volunteer Board of
Directors and Professional Advisory Board, we
provide a number of services and resources
throughout the state.
MPF was founded in 1983 by people with
Parkinson's disease, their family members, and
health professionals for the purposes of education,
support and research. We are funded primarily by
private contributions, memorials and grants.
Our web site has been developed to provide you
with information about MPF and its services, to
share our newsletter, The Messenger, and to help you
locate and take advantage of our support groups and
upcoming events. We invite you to contact us and
comment, either by email, phone or mail.
